Due to retirement, we are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our established team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
- Multi Drop to various locations throughout the UK, load and unload goods from the vehicle in cages on a roll on roll off basis
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
Person Specification
- Previous experience as a Professional delivery driver
- Valid 7.5-tonne driving license (Category C1)
- Ability to drive efficiently and safely
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Good physical condition for loading and unloading tasks
