Paul Smoker Roofing Ltd is an established roofing contractor based in Plymouth, carrying out high-quality domestic and commercial roofing work across Devon and Cornwall. We have built our reputation on quality workmanship, professionalism and excellent customer service.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Slater / Tiler to join our friendly team.
The Role
You will be involved in all aspects of pitched roofing, including:
- Natural and man-made slate roofing
- Tiled roof renewals and repairs
- Leadwork (preferred but not essential)
- Roofline works including fascias, soffits and guttering
- Velux roof window installations (training available)
- Working safely and professionally as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in slating and tiling
- Full UK driving licence
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable:
- Experience with leadwork
- CSCS Card
- SSSTS or other site safety qualifications
- Experience with flat roofing systems

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
7:30am – 4:30pm
