Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Mechanic Level 2/3 to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic to work in a dynamic environment, utilising their technical expertise and problem-solving abilities. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles
- Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Assemble new equipment or parts according to specifications
- Perform complex repairs including welding, mechanical adjustments, and component replacements
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and issues
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or installing equipment
Skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and machinery
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Experience with assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of industrial equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and equipment repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
