Overview
We are recruiting a Pre School Room Leader for our welcoming and friendly setting in Chester. We have a great reputation for quality childcare and a central location with easy access to transport links. The salary is based on 42.5 hours a week but we will also consider condensed hours over 4 full days.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality child care with passion and enthusiasm .
- Lead activities and programmes aligned with early childhood education standards
- Monitor children's safety and wellbeing at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Organise schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing rotas to optimise team performance
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones
- Assist in organising educational activities that promote learning and development
- Ensure the childcare environment remains clean, organised, and stimulating for children
- Qualifications
- Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Experience working with children, preferably within nursery or preschool environments
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively
- Organised with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Passionate about child development and creating positive learning experiences

Pay: £30,498.00-£31,000.00 per year
