Youth Football Coach – Dynamo Youth
£25 per session | Part-time | Weekdays | Bromley, South London
Dynamo Youth is an ambitious and progressive youth football club with a proud history of developing players for academy football.
Since the club was established, we have helped more than 100 young players progress into academy environments. We are committed to building on that record, expanding our programme and continuing to push talented players towards higher levels of the game.
We provide structured, player-centred coaching that challenges young footballers to improve technically, tactically, physically and psychologically. As Dynamo Youth continues to grow, we are recruiting high-quality coaches who want to contribute to a serious, long-term player-development project.
This opportunity would suit an experienced grassroots or academy coach, as well as a promising developing coach with strong football knowledge, professional standards and the ability to inspire ambitious young players.
The role
You will deliver organised, high-energy weekday training sessions within Dynamo Youth’s player-development programme.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering progressive, age-appropriate coaching sessions.
- Developing players technically, tactically, physically and psychologically.
- Identifying individual strengths and areas for development.
- Supporting talented players who have the potential to progress into academy football.
- Creating an enjoyable but appropriately challenging training environment.
- Maintaining high standards of discipline, behaviour and professionalism.
- Evaluating players and providing constructive feedback.
- Communicating professionally with parents, players and club officials.
- Working closely with Dynamo’s coaching and management team.
- Following the club’s playing philosophy, safeguarding procedures and codes of conduct.
- Assisting with player assessments, trials and recruitment activities where appropriate.

- Capable of recognising potential and supporting individual progression.
- Interested in developing their coaching career alongside the club.
Essential requirements
- Previous experience coaching or working with children.
- Availability for regular weekday sessions in Bromley.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to travel reliably to training venues.
- Willingness to provide suitable references.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to complete Dynamo Youth’s safer-recruitment, safeguarding and DBS procedures.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- FA Introduction to Coaching Football, UEFA C or a higher qualification.
- Current FA Enhanced DBS.
- In-date safeguarding and first-aid qualifications.
- Experience within grassroots, academy, school or community football.
- Experience designing structured player-development sessions.
- Experience preparing players for academy trials or development-centre opportunities.
- Experience coaching a competitive youth team.

Coaches who do not yet hold every preferred qualification may still be considered if they demonstrate suitable experience, strong potential and a commitment to completing the required training.
Recruitment process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an initial interview and practical coaching assessment. Appointments will be subject to satisfactory references, identity and right-to-work verification, safeguarding checks and an Enhanced DBS check where required.
