Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Engage with patients to answer basic questions and provide guidance on medication usage and storage
- Maintain organized records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards
- Help manage stock levels by receiving deliveries, checking expiration dates, and restocking shelves
- Follow all safety procedures and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and secure pharmacy environment
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and patient care techniques
Skills
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or related role is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with patients and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively within a team environment
