We are now looking to recruit an experienced Solar PV Electrician who wants to grow with the business and become a key, long-term member of our team. The Role
You will be involved in the installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems, working across both domestic and commercial projects. The role is predominantly based in the Central Belt, with occasional short-term travel to the North of Scotland and, from time to time, to sites in England.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and commissioning of domestic and commercial solar PV systems
- Installation of battery storage systems
- Installation and commissioning of EV charge points
- Electrical works associated with renewable energy systems
- Testing, inspection and certification of completed works
- Working safely and professionally on occupied and live sites
- Liaising with site managers, clients and wider project teams
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service
Experience with air source heat pumps and heating-related electrical systems is desirable but not essential.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience installing both domestic and commercial solar PV systems
- Experience with battery storage and EV charger installations
- Fully qualified electrician, including:
- Grade Card
- Inspection & Testing
- Solar PV qualification
- Battery storage qualification
- EV charging qualification
- Strong understanding of current electrical & MCS regulations
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable and proactive attitude
