Salary: £26,150.19 per annum (not pro rata)

What You'll Be Doing
No two days are ever the same. You'll create meaningful experiences that help young people grow in confidence, develop life skills and enjoy new opportunities.
You'll:
- Plan and deliver exciting outdoor activities, trips and experiences after school, at weekends and during school holidays.
- Organise community visits and help young people access local clubs, facilities and social opportunities.
- Deliver outreach sessions, supporting young people within their local communities and encouraging independence.
- Assist with outdoor education programmes that promote wellbeing, teamwork and resilience.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that help young people feel safe, valued and supported.
- Encourage confidence, independence and emotional regulation through engaging activities and positive role modelling.
- Support positive behaviour using calm, nurturing and consistent approaches.
- Work alongside education and care teams to ensure every young person receives personalised support.
- Provide occasional classroom behaviour support when required.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing throughout every activity.
About You

- Believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed.

- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience isn't essential.

About Us
Falkland House School is an independent residential and day school for boys from primary to aged 18 years. Our pupils have a range of additional support needs, primarily Autistic Spectrum Condition. We were the first independent school in Scotland (outside of the NAS) to receive accreditation from the National Autistic Society. All of our pupils are able to access a mainstream curriculum, but not in a mainstream environment.
For over 19 years, Options Autism has provided specialist care and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties.
