Job Overview
We are seeking 20x professional and reliable Class 1 Trunking Drivers to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, primarily using temperature measured containers for commercial deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on delivering high standards of service and safety. The position involves driving across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle integrity throughout shifts.

What's on Offer?
- 4 or 5 shifts per week (rota dependent)
- Sunday to Friday night operation
- Regular trunking work
- Modern Mercedes-Benz and DAF fleet
- Overtime paid after 48 hours or for additional rostered shifts
- Full paid induction and ongoing training
- Temp to Perm Position
Pay Rates:
Nights (22:00PM - 06:00AM) -£22.64
Overtime is also paid at the following rates:
Nights overtime - £ £28.25
Sundays / Bank Holidays - £33.98
Routes
Trunking deliveries to locations including Newcastle, Preston, Leeds, Hinckley, Letchworth, Croydon, Swansea, Exeter and more, with most routes involving a return to Birmingham.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Safety boots/shoes (no rigger boots)
- Hi-vis clothing
