Service Booking Coordinator (Telephone-Based)

About the Role
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Booking Coordinator to join our busy dealership team.
This is a telephone-based role, where you will spend the majority of your day making and receiving calls. You will be responsible for booking customer vehicles in for servicing, MOTs and repairs, managing appointment diaries and ensuring every customer receives outstanding service from their first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Make and receive a high volume of customer calls throughout the day.
- Book vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, repairs and warranty work.
- Contact customers to arrange appointments and follow up on outstanding work.
- Manage workshop booking diaries to maximise efficiency.
- Answer customer enquiries and provide accurate information about services and availability.
- Liaise with the Service Advisors and Workshop Controller to ensure appointments are scheduled effectively.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records on the dealership management system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every call.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys speaking to customers and is confident on the telephone.
- Has excellent communication and listening skills.
- Can remain professional and friendly while handling a high volume of calls.
- Is organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
- Has good computer and administrative skills.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a call centre, customer service or motor trade environment is desirable but not essential.
