Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our sales department by managing customer information, assisting with sales processes, and ensuring seamless communication between customer and internal teams. Main job functions:
Sales Office Support:
Meet & greet customers visiting the sales dept & direct them accordingly.
Answer overflow calls into the sales dept & direct messages etc. to relevant sales
team members. Deal with customer enquiries where able.
Working with the wider sales team, present machines to customers coming to look
at them, explaining features & functions as required, reporting back to sales team
member with update.
Carry out stock take of machines in line with company & manufacturer policy.
Keep the showroom & display areas up to date with machines, relevant marketing
information & re-order brochures etc as required.
Update the website with adverts, and support marketing with adverts, photos, etc:
Daily updating of the website to reflect changes to available stock, in conjunction
with the sales team.
Production of sales ads to be published to the website, following standardised
criteria.
Liaise with the Operations Supervisor in respect of getting machines prepped for
photography/viewing.
Produce video walk-rounds of machines.
Liaising with Marketing & Commercial Managers to produce relevant material for
social media.
Assist, alongside the sales team, in gathering material for the monthly newsletter.
Machine Demonstrations:
Liaising with the service department to keep demo machines in working order &
damage, repairs, etc. reported & rectified.
Keep log of demonstrations completed & share with service dept & relevant
Commercial Manager.
Deliver, install & demonstrate machines, where required, with customers &
establish needs. Report back to relevant sales team member.
Set up and support at shows and events:
Assist in the planning, preparation & set-up of events & show stands. Attend shows (some), talk with customers & advise as needed, ensure details are gathered & the sales team are notified for follow up.
Full, comprehensive, manufacturer training will be given alongside in house training with our own team of staff. Ensuring that the individual is well equipped to advise customers in the correct use & application of the products sold. Successful applicant will be BAGMA trained in machine installations.
A driving licence & experience in operating modern agricultural machinery is essential. As you will be customer facing, we need someone who buys into the values of P V Dobson, honesty, integrity & hardworking. You need to be conscientious & respectful in your approach to the operation of machinery & accurate in administration.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
