Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly followed, maintaining hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise team performance.
- Collaborate with management on menu development, special events, and customer feedback.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor portion control and minimise waste to ensure cost-effective operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.
- Previous experience in food production, hospitality, or serving roles is advantageous but not essential.
