Comserv are looking for full-time Glazier to join our team of operatives.
This role will be to work on a local authority contract to undertake repairs and maintenance activities in the Portsmouth area.

Duties will include:
- Undertaking all aspects of glazing to the required quality standards; in particular you will need to be able to:
- Measure for replacement glass both single and double glazed panes
- Fit both single pane and double glazed panes
- Identify, replace or repair multipoint locking mechanisms, handles and hinges to both UPVC and composite doors
- Replace or repair casement handles, locking mechanisms and friction stays
- Carry out minor plastic repairs including cleaning and buffing to UPVC profiles and cills
- Replace bubble or wedge gaskets and beads to both aluminium and UPVC profiles.
- Remove interior or exterior silicon sealants/trims and reseal with new trims and sealant.
- Gain entry to euro profile cylinders by drilling/snapping
- Assessing the work requirements when you get to site.
- Communicating with the Call Centre in an accurate and timely manner via telephone to gain each job and to update the service co-ordinators with the work you believe is required and what you have subsequently undertaken.
- Ensuring that you follow the Company’s safe working practices and safety procedures at all times.
- Liaising with tenants on site regarding the work you are undertaking.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Good general glazing skills and experience
- Willing to erect and work from aluminium towers (Pasma training will be given by Comserv)
- Previous experience undertaking domestic repairs
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer focused
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise accordingly
- A full, clean driving licence
