An amazing opportunity for driven and enthusiastic Assistants to join the Transport Planning Co-ordination team helping to bring Centralised Store Delivery Planning to all GB/IE distribution centres and working alongside National Supply Chain Management (NSCM) and Regional Warehouse teams.
The ideal Deployment Assistants would be highly motivated with a strong process adherence mindset. They should have the ability to take ownership for plan creations and liaise closely with Regional teams to ensure the most optimal delivery plans to Stores are created.

Your New Role
- System expert in our system SAP TM system.
- Creation of store delivery plans.
- Regional contact and communication.
- Continually developing working practices throughout industrialization to define SOPs.
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure the consistent and successful role out of all AHEAD systems.
- Later shift pattern (1pm to 9pm).
- Night rate after 10pm where required.
About You
- Demonstrate understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and confident to explore and develop our SAP systems.
- Confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels is key.
- Need strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organisational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Innate curiosity; always striving to improve and simplify processes and ensure consistency wherever possible.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, be pro-active and work on own initiative, working both in a team and independently.
- Ability to investigate and analyse a challenge and offer a solution.

What you’ll get in Return
- Salary starting from £37,545 rising to £43,840
- Fixed Term Contract – 23 Months
- Monday to Friday, 1pm to 9pm working a 5 days in 7 rota which includes 2 full weekends in, 2 full weekends off and 2 weekends of either Sat or Sun every 6 weeks.(Night shifts may also be required from 10pm on Night Rates.)
