Roofing Cladding & Building Ltd are a Southampton based industrial roofing and cladding contractor, we have been in the industry for over 30 years working for Main Contractors and Direct clients alike. We carry out works from £1K - £3m and are seeking an Estimator.
We are looking ideally for an all-rounder, who can self-manage is proactive and be extremely reliable that can adapt to pricing small works, variations and extras through to full design and build contracts for main contractors as well as been adaptable to quote direct clients. They would be a good communicator, proactive, reliable, loyal and have no job too small, hands-on approach
We are looking for someone who has
- Proven experience in estimating
- Some experience within the industrial roofing and cladding industry or a background in the construction within the industrial and commercial sector.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers alike.
- Ideally have Experience in an Estimating system
- Some experience in schedules of rates costing
- Be able to use Microsoft office packages.
- Driving licence and CSCS Card would be advantageous.
Estimator Role
- Manage and deliver project tender process & negotiations, feasibility study and Bill of Quantities
- Collaborate and build relationships with Clients and Suppliers.
- Price up construction works and tender packs, including completion of tender documentation, submit and follow up.
- Analyse drawings and schedules to ensure all aspects covered.
- Ability to work closely with Contract Manager and draughtsman’s
- Price any variations
- Price up small works.

· This is an office-based role, occasion site visits/meetings may be required.

· 5 minutes from to J3 M27, close to city centre, nearest Train Station is Redbridge (10 minutes’ walk)
- Holiday allowance of 25 plus bank holidays (compulsory 5 holiday minimum days required for Christmas shut down).
Package will depend on Experience – salary range approx. £50k pa.
