As a Senior Care Worker, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care while providing guidance and support to colleagues across the team. You'll lead by example, helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where residents can thrive.
This role involves shift work, including two out of every three weekends, as part of a rota designed to ensure consistent, high-quality care for our residents.
What you will do

Deliver high-quality care and support to residents

Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the service

Provide guidance and support to Care Workers

Contribute to care planning, reviews and risk assessments

Administer medication in line with policies and procedures

Promote residents' independence, choice and wellbeing

Maintain accurate records and ensure high standards of care are upheld
About you
You will be an experienced care professional with a genuine commitment to supporting older people to live well. You'll be confident leading by example, supporting colleagues and making sound decisions when required. Strong communication skills, compassion and a positive approach are essential.
You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare and be willing to work towards, or already hold, an SVQ Level 4 qualification. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
