- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care to the highest clinical standards
- Willingness to participate in the weekend and bank holiday nursing rota

About the Role
The Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality inpatient and wards-based care within our referral hospital.
You will work closely with our specialists, residents, interns, Senior RVNs, RVNs, and Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs)to ensure every patient receives the highest level of clinical care and attention.
This role is primarily wards-based and focuses on inpatient management, including critical care and one-to-one nursing when required. It offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated RVN to develop advanced clinical nursing skills in a specialist referral environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Deliver exceptional inpatient and wards-based nursing care to referred patients
- Provide critical care and intensive monitoring when required
- Ensure patient welfare, comfort, and recovery needs are consistently met
Clinical Support
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary clinical team
- Support advanced diagnostics, treatments, and specialist procedures
Clinical Development
- Develop and apply advanced nursing skills within a referral hospital environment
- Maintain high clinical standards and contribute to continuous improvement
