Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in administrative functions. This role involves managing team activities, maintaining efficient office procedures, and ensuring a professional environment that supports the organisation’s objectives. The Office Manager will be instrumental in fostering a productive workplace through effective supervision and administrative oversight.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily office activities to ensure smooth operations
- Manage human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
- Oversee financial tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and budgeting
- Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance on clerical tasks and office procedures
- Maintain organised filing systems for documents, records, and correspondence
- Handle communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with professional phone etiquette
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes to facilitate effective team collaboration
- Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure operational efficiency
- Implement organisational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and general office software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in human resources management including staff supervision and development
- Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles within an office environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams efficiently
- Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £41,700.00-£43,098.92 per year
