Are you passionate about exceptional coffee and great service? We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to join us at Mountain Coffee.
In this role, you’ll craft speciality espresso drinks behind the bar and serve our delicious selection of cakes and lunches. As a core part of our team, you’ll help us create a great atmosphere, top-tier coffee, and a warm, welcoming space for our local community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coffee & Bar: Dial in espresso, steam silky milk, and craft speciality coffees, teas, and signature drinks to high standards.
· Customer Experience: Deliver friendly, attentive service, taking orders with a smile and keeping the energy welcoming.
· Bar & Counter Standards: Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and station cleanliness across the bar and counter areas.
· Stock & Prep: Assist with daily prep work, monitoring freshness, and keeping inventory organised.
What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience working as a barista in a speciality coffee environment.
· Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and milk texturing techniques.
· A genuine passion for speciality coffee, community connection, and customer service.
· Strong team player who adapts quickly.
· Basic Food Hygiene certification or a willingness to obtain one.
· Part-Time/Flexible will be considered.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
