Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sewing Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to produce high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Operate various types of industrial sewing machines with precision and consistency
- Follow detailed work instructions and specifications to ensure product quality
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments or rework as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in packaging completed items according to company standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
Experience
- Previous experience in sewing or textile manufacturing is preferred
- Warehouse experience is considered advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with different types of sewing machines and techniques is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
