Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and welding metal components to produce high-quality products. Your expertise will help ensure precision, safety, and efficiency in our fabrication processes. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform MIG welding (Metal Inert Gas welding) and other welding techniques suitable for welding standards.
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment during assembly.
- Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect completed work for quality, precision, and structural integrity before final assembly or shipment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and working with various metals.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with welding standards or regional welding codes is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
- Knowledge of assembly processes involving sheet metal components.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality control.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.

Pay: £12.71-£18.00 per hour
