Production Support Role - Permanent, Full Time
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 Days, 2 Nights) – Average 42 hours per week

We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our Slitting Department in a Production Support role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same.
You'll be at the heart of the production operation, ensuring materials, equipment and consumables are available when needed, supporting production teams and helping to keep our manufacturing process running safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Production Support team, you will:
- Safely operate Counterbalance and VNA forklift trucks to transport materials throughout the factory.
- Supply production lines with raw materials, consumables and packaging materials.
- Identify, collect and transfer production materials using our SAP system.
- Move finished products safely into warehouse storage.
- Prepare production materials, including cutting cores to specification.
- Operate waste handling and baling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support rewinding activities following full training.
- Carry out routine housekeeping and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the production area.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure production teams have everything they need to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with Production Operators and other departments to support the smooth running of manufacturing.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Quality and GMP procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and enjoys working as part of a team, with:
- Valid Counterbalance Licence
- Valid VNA / FLT Licence
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
- A strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible and reliable approach
- Good attention to detail
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production operations
Don't worry if you haven't used all of our equipment before - full training will be provided.
