Pink Tile Education is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Worker to join a specialist SEMH school in Lindfield this September.
This rewarding role involves supporting primary-aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them to build confidence, develop positive relationships, and engage successfully with education.
- Providing support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting pupils to access learning and participate in classroom activities
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Encouraging independence, resilience, and personal development
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to support individual pupil needs
- Helping to maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs, either in education, care, youth work, or support settings
- Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the school's location
Previous SEMH experience is desirable but not essential for candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
