Plympton Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our team on a fixed-term basis from January 2027 or sooner until 31 August 2027.
We would also welcome applications from candidates seeking a part-time role.
You will join a supportive and dedicated team of English teachers and play an important role in delivering a high-quality English education for our students. We are looking for a creative and dynamic practitioner who can inspire and engage students of all abilities, set high expectations and support every learner to achieve their full potential.

- Plan and deliver a creative, engaging and stimulating curriculum.

- A qualified teacher with QTS.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
