Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food and beverage operations. Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas
- Assist with food production tasks as needed, including barista duties and serving customers
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and customer areas
- Lead by example in demonstrating hospitality excellence and fostering a positive team environment
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a food service or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Extensive restaurant or café experience, including food preparation and cooking skills
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and food production processes
- Experience in hospitality roles such as hotel or barista work is desirable
- Familiarity with serving in busy environments and managing high-volume customer flow
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
