We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment that encourages high performance.
- Assist with staff training programmes, including onboarding and ongoing development initiatives.
- Manage sales targets and implement strategies to maximise revenue and optimise merchandising displays.
- Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and communication with clients.
- Organise work schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor team productivity to meet organisational goals.
- Oversee stock levels, organise stock replenishment, and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Handle administrative duties such as reporting, record keeping, and supporting compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to visual merchandising efforts to enhance the shopping experience and promote key products or promotions.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
Experience
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with a focus on team supervision and leadership roles.
- Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages are highly desirable; bilingual candidates will be preferred.
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is advantageous.
- Previous administrative experience coupled with excellent phone etiquette is essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with time management techniques and organisational tools will support efficient store operations.
