Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring that all guests enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
- Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism while interacting with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 20 kg.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
