We are looking for a friendly, energetic Barista to join our small team .The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee as well as skilled in delivering high quality beverages, while helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
As a Barista, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable cafe experience through great service, attention to detail and consistency.
Key responsibilities include;
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, while following company recipes and standards.
Great customer service in a friendly manner, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations.
Operating equipment. Use the espresso machine, grinder and brewing equipmentcorrectly. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Maintain cleanliness. Ensure the cafe area work stations and equipment are clean, sanitized and organized at all times.
Cash handling. Accurately handle cash and card payments, manage the cash register transactions and provide correct change.
Stock and inventory. Replenish stock and supplies, such as milk,beans and syrups. Communicate shortages.
Uphold standards. Adhere to food safety and quality standards and maintain a consistant quality in beverages.
