£36,000 annual salary (incl. 9 contractual sleeps per month)
Hours average 39 hours p/w (169 hours p/m) FTE pro rata, if part time hours are considered

The Role
· Provide Holistic, Therapeutic Care: Support young people by creating a nurturing, safe, and homely environment that promotes emotional development, positive self-esteem, and interpersonal skills in line with the home's therapeutic ethos.
· Support Daily Living & Routines: Work as part of a team to manage daily household tasks, attend appointments, assist with education and activities, and support young people through structured routines—both at home and in school settings.
· Act as Key Worker & Team Mentor: Take key worker responsibility for individual young people—attending reviews, writing reports, and monitoring progress—while also mentoring new staff and supporting positive care practice among the team.
· Work Professionally & In Partnership: Engage with families, social workers, and external agencies, maintain accurate records, uphold safeguarding and regulatory standards, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
What we are looking for?
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (CYP) Qualification / Residential Childcare is Essential
- Experience with young people in a residential children’s setting
- Experience with managing traumatic life experiences and Autism/ADHD
- Experience in a supervisory capacity or team leading
- Hold a full UK manual driving licence (company cars provided)
