Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional 3.5t Van Driver to join our pallet delivery team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely across various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate will possess relevant driving experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van for daily deliveries and collections
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods, including heavy items, with proper handling techniques
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with customer requirements
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
- Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery notes and logs
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during driving operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving
- Valid UK driver’s licence, preferably with a <PERSON> driver qualification or equivalent
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Good organisational skills for route planning and time management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to driving and manual handling

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
