Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Respond courteously to guest inquiries and special requests
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle payments efficiently, including cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately
