A leading Devon law firm is expanding its specialist Court of Protection and Private Client team and is now recruiting a Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive for its Plymouth office.
This hire offers hybrid working, strong support and clear progression for a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 0-3 years PQE .

The Role – Court of Protection/Mental Capacity Law
You will join a well-established specialist team handling a varied and rewarding caseload, including:

Court of Protection matters under the Mental Capacity Act
-
Supporting vulnerable adults, children and elderly clients
-
Liaising with families, care providers and professionals
-
Managing financial affairs, deputyships and trustee matters
-
Visiting clients in care settings and at home
-
Working closely with financial advisers on longer-term planning
Candidate Profile
-
Solicitor or Legal Executive
-
Newly qualified to 3 years PQE invited to apply

Court of Protection experience beneficial but not essential
-
A background in private client, family law, or litigation welcomed
-
Strong interest in Mental Capacity / vulnerable client work

Excellent communication and client care skills
