As a Repair Technician, you will:
- Diagnose & Lead: The core job of this Repair Technician role is to diagnose common and not so common faults with various small engine driven and electrical pressure washers and generators.
- The successful candidate will have a history of maintenance and small engine repair and consider themselves efficient and knowledgeable.
- Take Ownership: You won’t be just a number; you’ll have full ownership of your repair jobs. You repair it, and you test it. Giving you the satisfaction of knowing you fixed a machine that is working flawlessly before arriving with the customer.
- Variation: No two days will be the same, with hundreds of variations of machines coming in for repair over the year, you won’t get bored.
- Safety First: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Utilise Tools: Utilise hand tools & power tools with precision daily.
What We're Looking For:
- Team Player: A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Small Engine Experience: Experience in small engine repair is essential, with training provided and a knowledgeable team to support you.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience and a history in small engine machinery or engineering is essential.
- Electrical Aptitude: Experience in electrical machinery is essential.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical Inclination: Mechanically inclined individuals with prior experience in pressure washers, generators, garden equipment or general experience in power products repair and maintenance.
- Fabrication: Fabrication skills would also be desirable but not essential.
- Certified?: Certifications related to electrical systems or outdoor power equipment is desirable but we value skilful experience over certifications for this role!
