Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and licensing regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Provide friendly and professional service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or bar service, with excellent serving skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving correct change
- Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable manner with strong communication skills
- Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude is key
