OWN VEHICLE REQUIRED DUE TO REMOTE LOCATIONS & LIMITED WELFARE FACILITIES

Must be able to travel across Oxford, Swindon and Cheltenham
Duties
- Ability to work regular 12 hour day/night shifts alone or as part of a team..
- Continuous surveillance, remaining vigillent and alert at all times.
- Perform regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders and documenting events thoroughly.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by verifying credentials and guiding them within the premises.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage logs for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Provide first aid assistance when needed, following established safety procedures to support injured individuals until professional help arrives.
Skills
- Professional appearance in relation to uniform, ppe and personal hygiene
- Excellent communication skills for interacting confidently with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and composed during long shifts.
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire.
- Familiarity with security protocols, emergency procedures, and safety regulations relevant to the role.
- Attention to detail in documenting incidents accurately and maintaining security records.
- Training will be provided.
Specific training is required for the position, which is paid for by the company. Whilst this is being recovered, rate of pay will be £12.71, rising to £15.00 after approximately 100 hours of work.
