We are opening a, modern barbershop located in a prime, newly developed retail space in Salford. We pride ourselves on delivering premium grooming services in a sharp, professional, and welcoming environment. As we grow our footprint in the Manchester area, we are looking for a highly skilled, ambitious barber to join the floor on a self-employed, split-fee basis.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established barber looking to maximize their earnings, or a talented cutter ready to build their own business within a high-traffic retail unit. You will operate as your own boss, enjoying full flexibility over your schedule while benefiting from our premium shop fit-out, local clientele. Our core trading hours are 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and we are seeking a driven barber who is looking to maximize their earning potential by aligning their working diary with our peak operational times.
What We Offer

What We Are Looking For
- Tools: You must provide your own professional-grade clippers, scissors, and personal barbering equipment
- You must be confident in all aspects of modern barbering, including skin fades, scissor work, and beard sculpting.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service, handling any concerns professionally
- Stay current with the latest trends and techniques and bring them into your work
- Keep your workstation, tools and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop a positive, welcoming place, in line with the shop's professional and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years fully qualified behind the chair
- English Speaking
- A strong portfolio of previous work (please include a link to your professional Instagram or portfolio in your application).
Pay: £25,420.00-£52,383.68 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Salford M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
