MCNL Energy Solutions is a growing, family-run renewable energy company specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging.
As the business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised, ambitious and proactive individual to join our office team and become an important part of our operations.
We're not simply looking for someone who wants an admin job.
We're looking for someone who wants to learn the renewable energy industry, take on increasing responsibility and build a long-term career with MCNL.
For the right person, we want this role to develop into a senior operational position within the company as our team continues to grow.
The Role
Initially, you'll work closely with the Directors and office team, supporting the day-to-day administration and coordination of our solar and battery installations.
As your knowledge develops, you'll be trained across the wider operational and compliance side of the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- General office administration
- Managing and updating our CRM
- Customer communication throughout the installation journey
- Coordinating installation diaries and appointments
- Preparing job and installation packs
- Checking installation paperwork and documentation
- Preparing customer handover packs
- Processing G98/G99 applications and DNO documentation
- Supporting MCS administration and certification
- Reviewing and processing electrical test sheets
- Warranty and manufacturer registrations
- Liaising with customers, installers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Following up outstanding installation documentation
- Supporting post-installation customer queries
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation
- Identifying outstanding tasks and proactively following them through to completion
Full training will be provided on our internal processes and the technical administration involved in Solar PV and Battery Storage.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

- Comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities
- Computer literate and confident learning new systems
- Reliable and able to take ownership of their workload
- Keen to learn and continually develop
- Ambitious and interested in building a career rather than simply finding their next job
- Comfortable working within a growing business where processes continue to evolve
Previous experience within Solar PV, renewable energy, construction, electrical contracting or a similar technical industry would be highly advantageous, but isn't essential for the right person.
Experience with MCS, DNO applications, G98/G99, electrical certification or renewable energy compliance would be particularly advantageous.
Progression
This is a role we want someone to grow into.
As your knowledge and experience develop, we want you to take increasing ownership of the operational side of the business, improve processes and become someone the wider team can rely upon.
There is genuine potential for the right person to progress towards a Senior Operations Coordinator / Operations Manager position as MCNL continues to expand.
