Benefits of Our Shift Pattern:
You will work alongside our other Maintenance Operative, who works a rolling pattern of two weeks on and two weeks off. During the two weeks when they are off duty, you will take responsibility for the maintenance function, including completing the daily and weekly audits.

Job Description:
As a Maintenance Operative at Stanfield Nursing Home, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our home. Your duties will include:
- Stripping and putting up wallpaper
- Painting and decorating
- Performing general maintenance and repair tasks
- Changing lightbulbs
- Sweeping the car park
- General gardening and outdoor maintenance
- Climbing ladders and performing tasks at various heights
- Ensuring all areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
- Auditing and Health & safety Checks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (we will cover the cost)
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude
