Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The role will work on multiple contracts we operate within void social housing properties, full bathroom and kitchen upgrades and disabled adaptation programs (such as level access shower installations and extensions) around Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Duties
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
- Install plasterboard to differing substrates and prepare for skim coats.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
- Repair damaged plasterwork, including patching holes and cracks.
- Install lime plaster and other damp proofing techniques within void properties
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to plastering tasks.
- Strong ability to fully plaster alongside plasterboarding and skimming.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent finishing skills is essential.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Full clean driving license.
