Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join our expanding team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills as well as the ability to analyse customer needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Enquiry Management: Act as the first point of contact, professionally handling internal and external calls and emails; ensuring all queries are resolved promptly or escalated to the correct department.
- Data & System Administration: Maintain 100% accuracy in data entry across in-house systems, including the production of bespoke labels and precise client invoicing.
- Reporting & Insight: Support the Customer Service Manager by preparing high-quality reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to track SLA performance and provide actionable insights.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong professional relationships through regular engagement, ensuring all documentation aligns with company branding and quality standards.
- Operational Support: Work closely with the warehouse team and the wider business to provide administrative support that ensures smooth contract packing and logistics operations.
- Compliance & Standards: Operate in strict accordance with GDPR, Health & Safety, and BRC regulations, maintaining total confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is an advantage.
- Ability to analyse information and make informed decisions based on customer needs.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Please note: this is an admin / office based Customer Service role that will be answering phones and emails - Retail or In-Store experience is not applicable and applications of this nature will be rejected.
