At The Three Fishes, our menus are shaped by the seasons and inspired by our kitchen garden, local suppliers, and a true farm-to-fork philosophy. We are looking for a chef who shares our passion for quality ingredients, teamwork, and delivering exceptional food experiences.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and professional growth
- Oversee food preparation processes, including cooking, plating, and presentation to meet organisational standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and manage waste control effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies within the kitchen environment
- Uphold organisational standards for cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the kitchen area
- Preparing and delivering dishes to a high standard
- Contributing positively to a professional and collaborative kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a quality restaurant kitchen
- Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and modern British cooking
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy service periods
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Desire to learn, develop, and progress within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high-quality standards
