See Your City is looking for engaging, confident storytellers to join our London guide team. You'll lead small-group walking tours through some of the city's most iconic and atmospheric corners — think historic streets, hidden alleyways, and the kind of stories that make people fall in love with London all over again. No two days look the same: our tours range from lighthearted and family-friendly to eerie evening walks through the city's darker history.
We're especially keen to hear from speakers of:
- Japanese and Portuguese — we currently have very few guides who can lead in these languages, so if this is you, we'd love to talk.
- Spanish and Italian — also a real gap in our current team.
We're also actively growing our:
- German and French speaking guide teams, alongside our core team of English-speaking guides.
If you speak any of the above (or several!) and love bringing history to life for a live audience, we want to hear from you — regardless of your language, there's a real place for you here.
What the role looks like:
- Self-employed, flexible — take on as many or as few tours as suit you
- £65 per two-hour tour, plus tips (which go straight to you) and commission potential on top
- Full training and support from day one — no guiding experience required, just genuine enthusiasm and the ability to hold a group's attention
- The more tours you learn, the more work becomes available — our most active guides lead up to 10 a week
