Are you an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for your next rewarding opportunity? South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join the specialist Mother and Baby Unit at Bethlem Royal Hospital.
In this unique role, you'll support mothers experiencing complex mental health needs during the perinatal period, using your expertise to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused care.
What you can add:
- Manage a specialist caseload, delivering evidence-based OT assessments, interventions, and care plans.
- Use MOHO and other specialist assessments to support recovery and manage risk.
- Work collaboratively within the MDT to provide holistic, trauma-informed care.
- Lead service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and support junior staff and students.
What you'll need:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with no restrictions to practice.
- Extensive mental health experience across inpatient and/or community settings.
- Specialist knowledge of MOHO and occupational therapy assessments.
- Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act, risk assessment, and care planning.
- Experience supervising staff and contributing to service development.
