Duties
- Prepare and cook specific sections of the menu with precision, maintaining consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines to deliver outstanding meals
- Assist in the development of new menu items and improve existing recipes to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure seamless operations
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring timely delivery to guests
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food safety standards
- Hands-on experience with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, sanitation practices, and inventory management
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent understanding of food presentation, portion control, and serving etiquette
- Ability to work as part of a team in a lively, energetic environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
