Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, switches, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as required
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow designated schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are maintained to standard
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
