We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities. The project 12 months with the view to extend to permeant position
Expectation of working one weekend in 4 on an as and when basis
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose electrical issues through testing and troubleshooting procedures to identify faults or hazards.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for future reference.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent potential failures or safety risks.
- Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
Experience
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Proficiency with power tools necessary for installation and repair tasks.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices in the industry.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Prior experience working in commercial or industrial environments is preferred.
