Quadrille publishes beautiful books to help people live life to the full. Home to experts, household names and bright new talents in cookery, craft, lifestyle and gift, our books are renowned for their cutting-edge design and international appeal.
We are seeking a creative and strategic senior marketer to lead campaigns for our Create, Life and Now lists. These lists are home to expert authors, tastemakers, household names and bright new talents in craft, creativity and lifestyle (including design, architecture, fashion and gardening).
The role
This is an important role for the Quadrille team. Reporting into the Campaigns Director, the ideal candidate will be adaptable, organised and strategic, with experience of lifestyle publishing or the wider sector.
You will join a strong and supportive team, where no two days are the same, offering many opportunities to shape new trends, work with unique talents, and have exciting experiences. Occasional evening or weekend work will be required, but time in lieu will be given.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative, sales-driving, audience-first campaigns.
- Line management
- Launch bestselling books and identify, grow and engage reader/fan communities.
- Maintain strong relationships with authors, partners and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with authors, guiding and supporting them throughout campaign activity.
- Create compelling and creative copy for marketing campaigns.
- Build and develop partnerships with brands and influencers.
- Work collaboratively with publicity, editorial and sales colleagues, and maintain strong relationships with all partners and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on lifestyle and creative trends, and changes in the digital advertising and social media landscape.
- Use industry knowledge to inform and mentor colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ensure a high level of attention to detail across all campaign activity.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience managing creative, sales-driving, audience-first campaigns across the lifestyle sector
- Experience of finding and growing reader/fan communities.
- Experience building and maintaining partnerships with brands and influencers.
- Proven experience of successful author management.
- Excellent creative copywriting skills with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative approach, with experience working effectively across teams.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills both internally and externally.
- Strong awareness of lifestyle and creative trends.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the digital advertising and social media landscape.
Preferred criteria:
- Experience of book publishing
- Experience of line management or mentorship
- Demonstrative experience of collaboration with publicity department

Salary
c. £45,000 - £50,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you’ll spend at least three days per week at our Embassy Gardens office.
