Hours: 7:00am – 3:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 1:00pm Friday
Hourly Rate/Salary ££Negotiable depending on experience

This is an exciting role for a time served, experienced TIG welder specialising in high-end stainless-steel welding to support hi-tech industries such as pharmaceutical and medical. The successful candidate will be able to produce welds of top quality and visually pleasing when left as laid. We are seeking hands-on welders to join an established team who pride themselves as being amongst the best welders in the UK.

Duties to Include
· Prepare and adjust TIG welding machines as per project requirements
· Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications to determine weld requirements- troubleshoot and collaborate with the team to overcome any issues on new projects.
· Weld components and tube on stainless steel and other high nickel alloys.
· Check workpiece for defects before and after welding to ensure welds meet high-quality standards
· Identify defects and carry out necessary rework.
· Prepare surfaces to ensure proper weld penetration
· Adhere to workplace procedures and keep a clean and tidy environment
What we are looking for:
· A time served TIG welder, ideally apprentice trained
· Ideally NVQ qualified
· A good team player
· A good attention to detail.
