Duties
- Be efficient and on time
- Navigate urban and suburban routes using GPS and local knowledge to ensure prompt deliveries
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing friendly service and confirming order accuracy
- Handle food packages with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition while managing heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Complete delivery logs accurately and report any issues or delays promptly to management
- Assist in packing of food into the heated delivery bag
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver is preferred, but not essential or in a similar driving role, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent driving skills, including safe maneuvering through traffic and adherence to road safety laws
- Ability to stay organized, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple deliveries during busy periods
