About The Role
The company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Manager to support ensuring books are accurate and compliance reporting happens in a timely manner; ideal role for a driven individual that wants to progress in a Finance environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare & submit monthly VAT return for the companies in the group
- Review & amend supplier payment runs
- Lead supplier payment run meeting
- Produce and reconcile payment collection for customers
- Support Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Assistants
- Input and post approved payment runs onto the banking system
- Reconcile rebates due to be paid to customers
- Liaise with customers whose payment weekly payments were unsuccessful and resolve issues
- Reconcile annual customer spend
- Post month end journals such as Prepayments; Accruals; market income and depreciation
- Complete ledger checks
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- AAT part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent)
- 5+ years in similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and AP processes
- Experience with Sage 200

- Financial accounting: 4 years (preferred)
- Sage 200: 2 years (preferred)
